The Dis Dance Story

My daughter goes to DIS Dance (this is her 3rd year there) my second daughter will go next year. Grace absolutely loves it! I have always been impressed with the way DIS Dance teaches dance. There are no moves that are sexually explicit or inappropriate. The music and costumes are carefully and thoughtfully chosen. I also love that there is no focus on competition, but that the kids learn to work with others and develop great dance skills. It's also affordable (especially compared to some other dance studios). I happily recommend it!!!
Mrs Reed
DIS DANCE was established in 2009 by local Primary School and dance teacher Kelly Adams and her younger sister Robyn Whybrow. Both having danced their whole lives, their vision for the studio was to run a highly professional business with a focus on affordable classes, performances and self improvement rather than competitions and eisteddfods. They commenced their business at Schofields Community Centre by holding a Hip Hop Workshop which attracted 40 students in their first week alone. From then on, they began regular classes and have been slowly adding more and more classes due to popular demand. In their second year of business they performed their End of Year Concert with 82 students and in 2011 had doubled their enrolments with over 160 students! For 2015 they look forward to adding a second location, an extra 15 classes and even more styles of dance for ages 2 to adult!
