"Does my child have to perform in the concert?
No, but most students do and all classes have an end of year performance that they work towards. 

How can I become a part of DIS?
Please contact our friendly admin team to find out what classes might suit you best and organise your trial class! If you would like to enrol, please ask our friendly staff for our online registration link! 

Is it compulsory to wear DIS DANCE uniform?
As we give a singlet or leotard with registration it is preferred students wear one of these to class with black shorts, pants or ¾ pants. We also have optional uniform available for you to purchase and wear to classes too!

Do you do exams?
Yes we proudly provide examinations for Ballet, Tap and Jazz through the Australian Teachers of Dancing Syllabus. 

How many students are in each class?
Our standard student to teacher ratio is 15:1. That means that if there are more than 15 students in a class a trained assistant teacher will also be placed on the class. Sometimes for our smaller classes, we will also have a trained assistant teacher as well depending on the age group and style. 

Do you do competitions and eisteddfods? 
No, we are a non competitive studio so our focus is on teamwork and performances rather than competitions. 

How do you accept payment?
Electronic transfer is our preferred method of payment but we do accept cash payments in labelled envelopes that have the correct amount inside. 

When is your Concert?
We try to have our Concert in Week 5 or 6 of Term 4 each year.
