At DIS Dance Rouse Hill we provide a space where dancers feel included and safe, a place where dancing is fun. At DIS Dance, we take an active role in shaping young people to achieve their best, in dance, and in life.

Equality and Fairness:
Everyone has the same opportunities at DIS Dance Rouse Hill. Receiving awards at the end of the year is based on how hard you try; and how often you try your best. We also have merit awards given out every class to consistently encourage our dancers. Each dancer receives a DIS Dance thank you gift and certificate at the end of the year. Throughout the year we celebrate everyone’s birthday with a personal text message and a lollypop.
Non Competitive:
We focus on bringing out the best in each dancer, not on deciding who is the best dancer. In our performances, everyone gets to shine.
Safe environment:
Our studio is safe for everyone. All teachers have a current working with children check and first aid certificate. Our dress code, our music selections and our performance style, promote a positive family friendly image of DIS Dance in the community. Every student receives a free DIS Dance singlet or leotard with registration. Our uniforms and costumes promote belonging, fairness and equity where people are not discriminated against because of the quality of their clothes or the shape of their bodies. We have a firm no midriff policy on all costumes and uniforms so students feel comfortable and safe in our learning environment.
Professional growth:
As a studio we want to be the best we can be. We commit to trying new ways of doing things and using technology to serve you best. We develop our teachers through workshops, courses and meetings throughout the year and our teachers are evaluated and given support and feedback each term. Because DIS Dance is for YOU, we encourage family feedback through an anonymous feedback page and regular surveys. We publish and use this feedback to do more of what you love and to continually improve.
